In response to COVID-19, we are seeking to show up in safe ways to raise up listening as a core value in our community and create compassionate connection.
We are offering online deep listening training! If listening and being heard are values that are close to your heart why not join us for our two-part training session?
There is no fee associated with deep listening training, but if you are able, we welcome a donation. (suggestion of $50)
We have made a committment to never let cost be a barrier to deep listening training.
Our listeners are happy to put on a facemask if that helps you be more comforable and they always comply with covid safety regulations as mandated by their listening sites.
Donations can also made directly by e-transfer to treasurerbauc@outlook.com Reach us at listeningpostbarrie@gmail.com.

WAYS FOR ALL OF US TO PARTICIPATE IN LISTENING DURING THE PANDEMIC
TAKE THE TIME TO LISTEN AND TALK TO YOUR FAMILY OR FRIENDS. TELL SOMEONE YOU LOVE THEM, MISS THEM, AND ARE GRATEFUL FOR THEM.
2. CHECK IN ON SOCIAL MEDIA
CONNECT WITH SOMEONE VIA FACEBOOK, INSTAGRAM, TWITTER, OR WHATEVER SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORM YOU PREFER!
3. HOST A VIRTUAL CONNECTION TIME
CHOOSE A PLATFORM, CREATE A MEETING TIME, AND SEND OUT INVITES TO FRIENDS OR LOVED ONES. THEN, GATHER TOGETHER VIRTUALLY WITH A DRINK OR A SNACK, AND CATCH UP!
4. TAKE LISTENING TRAINING ONLINE
REACH OUT TO THE LISTENING POST BARRIE TO REGISTER AND RECEIVE ONLINE LISTENING TRAINING EVEN, IF YOU DO NOT INTEND TO BECOME A LISTENING VOLUNTEER. ALL OF US CAN DEVELOP COMPASSIONATE LISTENING SKILLS BY TAKING THE TIME TO REFLECT AND PRACTICE.
