LEARN TO LISTEN
Learn to Listen We all need to share who we are, what life has brought us – joys as well as sorrow. We all need to be able to share that joy or sorrow without being judged. There are many levels to listening and many ways to improve our listening skills. Being a good listener is not just a charitable act. Being a good listener allows one to be present with life as it is. Listening is a way of being more fully alive as a human being. If you are interested in re-engaging with the natural listener you already are, we can help. We offer small group online and "in person" training for individuals in the community and group training sessions for workplace and volunteer settings. Here is what people are saying about our training workshops: "It was great to switch gears and think about listening from a different perspective. It is so important to remember that sometimes listening is all it takes. Sometimes a person just needs to feel heard." "The best part was being able to stop and talk about what we were learning in context of our work. I always find information sticks much better when you can apply it practically, talk about how we can use these listening skills, how we are already using them and how we can do better in the future." We have made a committment that finances never be a barrier to accessing listening training. However, if you would like to make a donation toward our work and financial sustainability, donations are gratefully received. To register simply contact us at [email protected] |
